
Moong Daal Bharta

Ingredients
- 2 cups moong daal (soak for 30 minutes)
- ½ tbsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp curry leaves
- ½ cup oil
Directions
- In a pot soak moong daal for 30 minutes in 2 cups water.
- In a pot add 2 cups water and boil the moong daal until water is evaporated and daal is tender. Do not over boil the Lentils.
- In a pan dry roast coriander powder until darkens. Now add chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Keep on roasting fos 20 seconds.
- Add oil and curry leaves and mix well.
- Add boiled moong daal and keep on cooking until texture is mushy.
- Keep on cooking for 15 minutes and once oil starts separating switch off the flame.
