Hyderabadi Maash Daal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup maash daal
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 5 whole black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp red chilli flakes
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 6 to 7 mint leaves
  • ¼ cup fried onion
 

Directions

  • In a pot soak maash daal for 30 minutes in 3 cups of water.

  • Boil maash daal for 30 minutes or until tender and keep it aside.

  • In a pot heat oil and fry whole black pepper and ginger garlic paste.

  • Add boiled maash daal to it and add all mentioned seasonings.

  • Add a little water and cook until well incorporated.

  • Add fried onions and mint leaves.

  • Serve with rice or chapati.
